Beautiful.

This is me. Lupus rash on my face. Annoying and will probably never go away. But they are a part of me now, can’t change it so might as well try to make it look good :)

Oh, and thanks to an IV steroid shot, and an increase of steroids, my skin has mostly cleared up in less than a week. :)
You look fabulous! Glad your meds are working well for you!
If you are thinking that you might just maybe perhaps want to share your stories and pictures about your (invisible) illness this week, I enthusiastically encourage you to do so! Here’s a link to make your participation that much easier (:

Portrait of Laura Charles for my Alopecia project.
my tum, sexy ay? must be, it made it in Bizarre Magazine ;) hahahah
i used to post a lot about it on my old blog, but nothing on here. i am pretty positive about it, always have been- rarely had any negative comments. I also used to have a blog on the Bizarre mag website, which was seen by one of the editors, who then did a telephone interview with me, so i could raise awareness about Ileostomy/Colostomy bags and show people you can still be a confident person with one.
It doesn’t stop me from doing anything, I can probably do a whole lot more now i have one- as mad as it sounds i am actually MORE confident with this than i was without it.
This is awesome!!! Love the decoration! (:
